I will not digress too much on this issue. We will not delve into who is going to be involved in this project.
My main gripe with this new town is, why Port Louis, of all the places in Mauritius?
Everyone knows that PortLouis is already overcrowded, with all the main offices being centralised in this small Capital, which only has two entry and two exit points!
Yeah, I know, we have set about building new roads and stuff, but will they really reduced the number of vehicles going to Port-Louis? Only time will tell!
And what will the focus of centralising the centralized centre of Mauritius. Having an integrated town inside the capital, I guess only high level intellectuals can think of this!
Anyway, there are so many coastal villages that we could have chosen,we do not lack any, do we? I would have been good for once, if we could have transformed one of those lesser know coastal village into an integrated town?
